The Clearwater United Methodist Church Women hosted their annual Spring Salad Luncheon and Fashion Show May 14. 

 

Seated at spring themed tables, attendees enjoyed a variety of salads and desserts. Clothing for the fashion show came from Albertville’s Christopher & Banks, who also had clothing on hand attendees could purchase at a generous discount. Area residents volunteered as models.

 

Each model showcased two outfits, a dressy number and then casual wear. All the fashions were geared towards spring, with bright colors and bold designs prominently featured. 

 

The CWUMW have been holding the popular event for over 16 years, with the money raised going to charitable purposes. 

 

“People enjoy it,” said member Diane Miller. “It brings the community together in a fun way.”
