The public had the chance to get an up close view of the Clearwater Fire Dept. during their open house earlier this month. 

Kids were able to try on fire gear, spray a firehose, and take a ride on a fire truck. There were snacks available and giveaways to sign up for. Firefighters and auxiliary members were on hand to answer questions and provide tours of the station.

Firefighters held two car fire demonstrations during the open house so the community could see them and their equipment in action. 

The Clearwater Fire Dept. is always looking for firefighters. Anyone who would like to apply is encouraged to stop by city hall to pick up an application.
