In his letter, he acknowledged the many people who have been a part of his career.

“Throughout my career, I have been incredibly fortunate to experience meaningful and rewarding work alongside amazing staff, supportive leadership, and incredible partnerships with parents and the broader community,” wrote Dockendorf.

He also acknowledged his work with students and began looking ahead.

“Serving this district has been one of the greatest honors of my professional life,” he said. “I am deeply appreciative of the trust, collaboration, and shared commitment to students that I have experienced over the past three decades.  I look forward to finishing the year strong and supporting a smooth transition in leadership.”
