Last weekend, Big Lake held its annual dog vaccination clinic at Lions Park. Lots of furry residents got updated vaccinations.

Barrington Oaks Veterinary Hospital came out to Lions Park to give vaccinations to many four-legged Big Lake residents. Dennis and Kim Gallenberg are both veterinarians, and they look forward to the event every year, as well as the clinic hosted in Elk River every spring.

The event was hosted in partnership with Big Lake Twp. and Big Lake City.

Dog licenses were available for purchase at the event and were required for all participants. Dogs needed to be leashed and healthy to receive vaccinations. One-year doses of Rabies, Canine DHPP, and Canine Lymes were available to the pooches.
