Becker High School senior Sofia Fakhreddine and junior Sophia Jiang were selected to be members of the 2024-25 Minnesota All-State Choirs.

Both students recently took part in the All-State Choir Camp at St. John’s University in Collegeville, July 30-August 3, which concluded with a choir performance in the Abbey Church on the university campus.

The selection process for students begins with auditions submitted in February each year. Annually, over 2,000 students audition for the all-state performing groups, with only a few hundred students from all over the state being selected to be a part of this elite program. 

Both will perform again at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis Feb. 15, 2025, during the Minnesota Music Educators Association Convention.
