Clearwater was the scene of 4th of July fun the morning of the holiday with Clearwater Estate’s annual 4th of July parade.
It was the largest in years with 17 entries, all decked out in their red, white, and blue finest. The parade wound around the streets of Clearwater Estates, where spectators waved and cheered them on.
Ted and Sharon Poucher’s pink flamingo-topped entry was crowned the parade winner.
After the parade, 80 residents and their families and friends gathered at the clubhouse to continue the celebration, where they were well-fed thanks to the cooks who successfully dodged the rain showers.
