Sixteen Becker High School Choir members were selected to attend the SSAA/TTBB Choral Festival sponsored by the American Choral Directors Association last Saturday, at the campus of St. John's University.
The students, along with choir members from other schools around the state, rehearsed with college directors and choirs from St. John's and St. Ben's, Concordia and Southwest State University. After a rigorous day of rehearsals, these high school and college singers performed together later that day at St. John's University Abbey Church.
The Becker students who participated were Kelli Lumley, Gabrielle Proefrock, Samantha Pounds, Alyssa Thielen, Sierra Dvorak, Haley Vanzee, Grace Jacobson, Allyna Storms, Tyler Wasserbauer, Justin Kimmerle, Hunter Voulgarakis, Ethan Quill, Rhiley Larson, William Schendel and Ian Kimmerle.
