NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR

COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT AND ZONING MAP AMENDMENT FOR 

PID #65-00608-0010

You are hereby notified that the Big Lake Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider a request for a Comprehensive Plan amendment and Zoning Map amendment for PID #65-00608-0010. The hearing will be held in the Big Lake City Hall Council Chambers located at 160 Lake Street North on Monday, May 6, 2024, at or about 6:00 p.m. The request is as follows:

Owner/Applicant: Carlson Development Group, LLC, 11591 217th Ave NW, Elk River, MN 55330

Location: North Minnesota Ave, east of 177th St, west of CR 43 and south of 205th Ave NW 

PID#: 65-00608-0010

Request(s): Comprehensive Plan amendment to change the land use designation from neighborhood to industry or office. 

Zoning Map amendment to change the zoning designation from Agricultural to General Industrial (I-2).
