Chair Jurek called the regular meeting of the School Board of District #726 to order on the 5th day of February, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. in the Teaching & Learning Center.
Roll Call.

Motion by Troy Berning, seconded by Ryan Hubbard to Approve the Consent Agenda as presented:

DISBURSEMENTS – in the amount of $6,490,744.37

RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE ADMINISTRATION TO MAKE
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR REDUCTIONS IN PROGRAMS AND POSITIONS

Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Connie Robinson, seconded by Corey Stanger, to Accept the Following Gifts:
Liberty Paper - Playgrounds - $20,000.00
Liberty Paper - Playgrounds - $2,500.00
Clear Lake Lions - ECFE - $5,000.00
BYSA Girls Basketball - Girls Basketball - $2,032.00
Yolanda Denson-Byers - GSA - $25.00
Motion carried unanimously.
Superintendent Schmidt Presented the Following Policies for Review Only (there have been no changes to these policies since their adoption):
512: School-Sponsored Student Publication and Activities
531: Pledge of Allegiance
566: Student Extended Trip
Motion by Troy Berning, seconded by Ryan Hubbard, to Amend the Current School Year Calendar to reflect the following change:
• Change March 7, 2024 from an early out to no school for elementary students only.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Pete Weismann, seconded by Corey Stanger, to Approve the 2024-2025 School Year Calendar, as presented. Motion carried unanimously.
