SUMMARY OF 

LAND USE AND ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 7 

The Lynden Township board, adopted Ordinance No. 7, entitled Land Use and Zoning Ordinance” on the 5th day of September, 2023. The ordinance made several changes to the Township’s zoning ordinance, including changes to the issuance, revocation and expiration of lnterim Use Permits and Conditional Use Permits, changes to the zoning district uses, addition of limitations of appeal of Township zoning decisions, and addition of requirements of applicants to reimburse the Township for costs incurred in processing a zoning application and providing an escrow to the Township to cover its costs of processing zoning applications.
