AMENDMENT TO THE SHERBURNE COUNTY
COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN
ORD NO – 271
The Sherburne County Board of Commissioners hereby rescinds the 2010-2030 Comprehensive Plan, and adopts the Sherburne County 2040 Comprehensive Plan by ordinance as the official controls adopted under the provisions of MN Statutes 394.21 to 394.37. The purpose of the Comprehensive Plan is to guide future land use through the year 2040 in areas within the County’s Zoning Authority. The Comprehensive Plan is the legal basis for establishing Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances with regulate current land use. Additionally, the intent of this Comprehensive Plan is to integrate, when applicable, township planning efforts in the County’s plan that have occurred since it was last updated.
This provision was passed by the Sherburne County Board of Commissioners on the 7th day of November, 2023. A complete copy of this Zoning Ordinance Amendment is available for viewing at the Sherburne County Planning and Zoning Office, 13880 Business Center Drive, Elk River, Mn, and is duly filed with the Sherburne County Auditor upon the publication of its enactment.
