NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR
AN AMENDMENT TO THE PRAIRIE MEADOWS
3RD ADDITION
PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT AND PRAIRIE
MEADOWS 4TH ADDITION PRELIMINARY PLAT
You are hereby notified that the Big Lake Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider a request to amend the Prairie Meadows 3rd Addition Planned Unit Development (PUD) and to preliminary plat Prairie Meadows 4th Addition. The hearing will be held in the Big Lake City Council Chambers located at 160 Lake Street North, Big Lake, MN on Monday, February 5, 2024 at or about 6:00 p.m.
The Prairie Meadows 3rd Addition PUD is a 75-unit residential subdivision featuring twin homes and townhomes on 15 acres located north of Marketplace Dr, south of 205th Ave NW, east of 172nd St NW and west of the Big Lake City limits.

Request(s): Amend the Prairie Meadows 3rd Addition PUD to 1.) allow a new style of twin home- in lieu of the townhomes permitted- to feature vinyl siding on 100% of the side and rear elevations, and 2.) to increase the total number of units by three.
Preliminary plat 10 acres into 60 twin home lots surrounded by open space and serviced by a loop road.
