AN ORDINANCE REVISING SECTION 2. 19 

OF CHAPTER 2

IN CITY CODE PROVIDING FOR FEES RELATED TO 

LICENSING, ADMINISTRATIVE

CITATIONS, MISCELLANEOUS, PROPERTY, UTILITY AND CHARGES FOR SERVICES.

The following official summary of the ordinance referred to has been approved by the City Council of Becker as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the amendments.

This ordinance revises the City Fee Schedule in the City of Becker Code Book to remove the Cannabinoid License fee and add the Cannabis Registration Fee in accordance with state statute, restructure the administrative citations fees so all code violations will fall under the same fee schedule rather than list each violation with the exception that flat fee no matter the number of violations has not changed, clarify language for vehicle impound release fee, increase TIF application escrow amount, update parkland dedication fees, remove SSTS permits, increase snowplow rates, update equipment list and rental rates, and increase water and sewer rate charges and monthly meter fees for 2026.

A printed copy of the entire ordinance is available for inspection by any person at City Hall any Monday through Thursday between the hours of 7: 00 a. m. and 4: 30 p. m. and Friday between the hours of 7: 00 a.m. and 1: 30 p.m.
