CITY OF BIG LAKE

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Big Lake City Council on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at approximately 6:00 p.m. in the Big Lake City Council Chambers.  The purpose of this public hearing is to consider street and utility improvements identified as the 2025 Street and Utility Improvement Project No. ST2025-1. Improvements include construction of drainage improvements, sidewalk repairs, concrete curb and gutter, base repairs, milling, bituminous pavement and miscellaneous work. The improvements are located on:

Highline Drive – County Road 73 to County State Aid Hwy. 5;

Mitchell Ridge Drive – Pond View Lane to east cul-de-sac;

Pond View Lane – County Road 73 to Mitchell Ridge Drive;

Bluff Road – Highline Drive to Mitchell Ridge Drive;

Minnesota Avenue – 176th Street to 177th Street;

Miscellaneous infrastructure repairs or installation throughout the city. 

The area to be assessed for such improvements consists of all abutting properties. The estimated total cost of this improvement is $819,650.00. A reasonable estimate of the impacts of the assessment will be available at the hearing. All those interested are encouraged to attend and comment.
