CITY OF BIG LAKE 

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR

VARIANCE TO CITY CODE SECTION 1004.03, SUBD. 4, TABLE 16,  FOR 111 JEFFERSON BOULEVARD

You are hereby notified that the Big Lake Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider a request for a variance for property located at 111 Jefferson Boulevard. The hearing will be held in the Big Lake City Hall Council Chambers located at 160 Lake Street North on Monday, August 5, 2024, at or about 6:00 p.m.

Applicant/Owner: Big Lake Investments, LLC, 111 Jefferson Blvd, Big Lake, MN 55309 

Location: North US HWY 10, south and east of Big Lake, west of Lake St N 

Request(s): Variance to City Code Section 1004.03, Subd. 4, Table 16, which establishes a fifty-foot (50’) setback from the Ordinary High Water (OHW) level of Big Lake. Applicant requests variance to encroach 25.71 feet into the OHW setback with a deck staircase.
