NOTICE OF GENERAL ELECTION
Notice is hereby given to qualified voters of Big Lake Township, in the County of Sherburne, State of Minnesota, that a General Election will be held, on Tuesday, the fifth (5th) day of November, 2024. Polls will be open from the hours of 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM for the purpose of electing candidates to the following offices, in the following Election Precincts:
Precinct #1 – Lord of Glory Lutheran Church, 15550 - 190th Avenue (Hwy 10 frontage road).
All people living in the Elk River School District #728; south of the governmental boundary line between Big Lake Township and Orrock Township; and west of the governmental boundary line between Big Lake Township and the City of Elk River.
Precinct #2 – Big Lake Town Hall, Lions Community Park, 21960 Co. Rd. 5.
All people living in Big Lake School District #727, north of Highway10; West of the boundary line of Elk River Independent School District #728; south of the governmental boundary line between Big Lake Township and Orrock Township; and east of the governmental boundary line between Big Lake Township and Becker Township, will vote at this location.
Precinct #3 – Big Lake Fire Station, 20243 County Road 43.
All people living in Big Lake School District #727 living south of Highway 10, Monticello District #882, and Becker District #726, will vote at this location.

NOTICE is also given that the Public Accuracy Testing of the local precincts assistive ballot marking equipment and ballot counters will be conducted on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 beginning at 9:00AM, at the Sherburne County Government Center – Maple Rooms A & B, located at 13880 Business Center Drive, Elk River, MN 55330. Members of the public, candidates, and political party representatives are invited to attend.
NOTICE is also given that the Local Board of Canvass will be conducted on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 beginning at 6:00PM, at the Big Lake Town Hall, located at 21960 County Road 5, Big Lake, MN 55309. Members of the public, candidates, and political party representatives are invited to attend.
