CITY OF CLEARWATER

ORDINANCE NO. 2024-06

AMENDING PART I, CHAPTER 14, ARTICLE V – WEEDS

OF THE CLEARWATER CITY CODE

THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, MINNESOTA, HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:

City Code Section 14-92, Maintenance, Subsection (a) is hereby amended to read as follows:

(a) All property within the City of Clearwater shall have turf grass maintained through regular cutting to prevent grass or other vegetation from exceeding 12 inches in height.

(1) Enforcement of this Subsection (a) shall be suspended each year during the month of May, as the city participates in the No Mow May movement to support native pollinators.

Effective Date.  This ordinance shall be effective July 8, 2024, following its passage and publication, which is hereby authorized by the City Council.
