NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Becker Township Planning Commission will hold their monthly meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12th, 2024, at Becker Town Hall, 12165 Hancock Street. The Planning Commission will meet to consider the following application(s) and other planning and zoning related topics.  Beginning at approximately 7:01 p.m. and following:

Public hearing for Interim Use Application, Owners/Applicants MPN Holdings, LLC.  The owners/applicants have submitted an Interim Use permit application to operate a short term drop yard at 15920 US Highway 10, SE, Becker, MN. 

Public hearing for Interim Use Permit Application, Owners Frank Jr and Linda Kasowski – Trustees, Applicants MPN Holdings, LLC.  The owners/applicants have submitted an Interim Use Permit Application to operate a stockpiling operation and storage of portable toilets during winter months at the property identified as 05-00004-3400 located in Section 4, Township 34, Range 29 of Becker Township, Sherburne County, MN.  

Public hearing for Becker Joint Planning Board Zoning Ordinance, Section 15, Floodplain Ordinance.  The floodplain section of the zoning ordinance has been revised based on the Minnesota DNR Model floodplain ordinance to satisfy the state and federal standards detailed in Minnesota Statutes and Rules and also rules and regulations of the National Flood Insurance Program regarding general regulations for development in floodplains as well as procedures guiding administrative responsibilities.  A copy of the draft ordinance is immediately available for inspection on the township website, visiting Township hall, or by request.
