I. CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Board of Education of
Independent School District No. 727, Big Lake Schools,
was called to order on June 20, 2024.
II. ROLL CALL
All members were present except Mr. Tony Scales and
Mr. Derek Nelson.

A motion passed to approve the agenda.

Chair Reasoner and the Board led the Pledge of Allegiance.

A motion passed to approve the donations.
VIII. FINANCIAL REPORT
A motion passed to transfer money from the assigned fund balance for insurance deductibles
to a committed fund balance for insurance deductibles.
A motion passed to approve the financial report as presented.
IX. APPROVE 2024-2025 BUDGET
Ms. Manuel asked the board to approve the 2024-2025
revenue budget of $60,534,326 and the expenditure budget of $69,660,025. A motion passed to approve the 2024-2025 budget as presented.
X. APPROVE 2026 LONG-TERM FACILITIES
MAINTENANCE PLAN
A motion passed to approve the following resolution:
RESOLUTION ADOPTING INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 727 FY 26 LONG-TERM FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TEN-YEAR PLAN
BE IT RESOLVED that School Board of Independent School District No. 727, State of Minnesota, approves the attached FY 26 Long-Term Facilities Maintenance Plan.
XI. REVIEW AND COMMENT DISCUSSION
A motion passed to approve the submission of the review and comment to MDE.
