NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

ON ESTABLISHMENT OF ECONOMIC 

DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Commissioners (the “Board”) of the Economic Development Authority of the City of Becker, Sherburne County, Minnesota (the “EDA”), will hold a public hearing on Monday, July 8, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. at the Becker City Hall, 12060 Sherburne Ave., Becker, Minnesota, relating to the proposed establishment of Economic Development District No. 1 under Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.090 through 469.1082, as amended.

The property proposed to be included in Economic Development District No. 1 consists of tax parcel identification number 60-00401-0143 and is legally described as follows:

The parcel proposed to comprise Economic Development District No. 1 is located at 12060 Sherburne Ave, Becker, Minnesota 55308.

The purpose of Economic Development District No. 1 is to authorize the EDA to acquire the parcel (through lease) within the district for future economic development purposes, including without limitation, construction and installation of public improvements.
