I. CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Board of Education of
Independent School District No. 727, Big Lake Schools, was called to order on December 19, 2024.
II. ROLL CALL
All Board members were present.
III. APPROVE AGENDA
A motion passed to approve the agenda.
IV. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Chair Reasoner and the Board led the Pledge of
Allegiance.
V. RETIREMENT RECOGNITION
Chair Reasoner recognized Board Member Tony Scales for his 12 years of dedicated service to the Big Lake
district.

X. APPROVE PAY 2025 PROPERTY TAX LEVY
CERTIFICATION
Direct of Business Services, Angie Manuel, asked
the board to approve the Pay 2025 Property Tax Levy Certification of $13,282,507.43. A motion passed to
approve the 2025 Levy Certification as presented.
XI. COMPREHENSIVE ACHIEVEMENT AND CIVIC
READINESS GOALS ANNUAL UPDATE
Assistant Superintendent, Minda Anderson, presented
the update.
XII. ANNOUNCE JOINT POWERS MEETING
Superintendent Truebenbach announced the Joint
Powers meeting for Thursday, January 16, 2025 at
6:00 PM in Big Lake City Council Chambers. A
motion passed to approve the meeting.
XIII. ESTABLISH COMBINED POLLING PLACES
RESOLUTION
A motion passed to approve the following resolution:

School Board Student Representative, Alexis Gosewisch was absent.
XVI. SUPERINTENDENT REPORT
Superintendent Truebenbach gave his monthly report to the board.
