Wanted to take a few minutes tonight to say thank you to the host of people who helped make the Community Concert at the Creek a successful event. There were many hands that touched the event and each one played a crucial role. 

 

We had several volunteers from the Becker Football Team, Women’s Club, Men’s Club, and Season Pass holders, many of the local businesses and our vendors supported us through the sponsorship of goods, services, and cash donations. 

 

The staff stepped up and worked long hours during setup and execution of this event. It was an all hands on deck approach and outside the scope of their normal duties.

 

To all of those listed above I want to express my sincere gratitude and thanks. 

 

Without each of their contributions, this event would have been very difficult to bring together.

 

Thanks to Outside Recess and the Chris Hawkey Band for providing the entertainment. Both were outstanding and are true professionals at what they do. I would put them on your short list if you’re ever in need of live entertainment, they will not disappoint.

 

In conclusion, whether you’re working with individuals, businesses, or vendors, if you have a relationship with them and they understand the end goal, they will likely pitch in where they can to assist in achieving that goal. It gives me great hope for the future of the City of Becker and all the businesses and residents who call it home. Thanks for reading.
