Health Insurance Counselor- Serve through the Central Minnesota Council on Aging to assist Medicare beneficiaries with such things as; supplemental insurance selection, discussing Medicare Saving Programs, working with prescription assistance programs, helping individuals compare, enroll and resolve issues regarding their Medicare Part D benefits, and other forms assistance.  Hours are flexible throughout the year, 18 hour training required.  Next training is 3 September 2015 dates from 9 AM – 3:30 PM each day.  St. Cloud location.  Volunteers set the radius from home they are willing to travel to do in-home counseling.  Especially needed in Wright County. Provide-A-Ride - Transport Great River Area Faith in Action clients who have no other way to get to medical appointments.  Drivers use their own cars and are notified in advance.  Days and times needed vary and are flexible for any schedule!  Needed from all Sherburne County locations. TLC for Furniture - Great River Area Faith in Action is in need of  people who like to paint and refurbish furniture to bring it back to life!  Furniture is then used to give to those in need or sold at on of the organization’s boutiques as income generation for the mission.  Come meet friends and paint with us at our Becker location!
