Emerald Ash Borer Survey Assistant – (*Event March 20) Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) is spreading across MN and on the border of Sherburne County. Training on how to identify evidence of EAB in local ash trees and to be on the survey team for the Sherburne Soil and Water Conservation District will be held on Monday 3/20 from 9 AM – Noon. Health Promotion Group Facilitator – Receive training to lead any one or more of several evidence based health promotions classes for area Senior Citizens on behalf of Catholic Charities. Topics include Falls Prevention, Health Eating, Living with a Chronic Disease. Volunteer participates in facilitator training held in St. Cloud for 2-4 full days, depending on the topic chosen. Classes are then lead by trained facilitators in short-multiple week sessions in various communities as scheduled by Catholic Charities in conjunction with volunteer facilitators.
