Food Shelf Client Assistant – The Big Lake Food Shelf is in need of volunteers to help clients with their items for shifts on Monday or Thursday evenings from 5:00 to 7:30, or Wednesday mornings from 8:30 to 11:00. Transportation – There are many community members who have no transportation to vital medical or human service appointments, primarily due to age or disability. Volunteer to use your personal vehicle to transport TriCAP clients to these important destinations. Drivers are notified in advance and are reimbursed for all miles driven. Days and times needed vary and are flexible for any schedule! Needed from all Sherburne County locations to appointments in St. Cloud, Monticello, Princeton and the Twin Cities metro area. Noon Meal Assistant – Help to serve or deliver weekday, noon meals to Becker area senior citizens. It takes a short time to makes someone’s entire day brighter! Kitchen volunteers serve prepared food to diners, package Meals on Wheels and assist with clean up from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM 2-4 times per month. (Especially needed on Fridays.)
