Rsvp/The Volunteer Bridge

Embroidery – The emergency room staff at Fairview Northland Medical Center give out special homemade pillows to patients being transported from their hospital to another. A volunteer is needed who has an embroidery machine and is willing to embroider a specific saying and small graphic for each pillow. Meals on Wheels - Deliver noon meals to Becker/Clear Lake/Clearwater area senior citizens unable to cook a nutritious meal for themselves.  Meal delivery drivers needed on various weekdays.  Midday time commitment of ½ to 1 hour, 2-4 days per month.  Businesses/groups willing to offer a rotation of employees/members for these positions are welcome.  Contact Megan - 763.389.4602 (leave a message).

Drivers - Volunteers provide rides using their own private vehicles to residents of Sherburne County. Passengers are assigned to volunteers by the Tri-CAP dispatch center and may be traveling to medical appointments or a variety of other destinations. Volunteer drivers are reimbursed at the Federal IRS rate and may also be eligible for some meal reimbursements.
