Faith in Action will be sponsoring their first-ever Gala, a fundraising effort for local projects, Thurs., Feb. 13 at River City Extreme in Monticello.
Intended use of funds from the Gala will be to support families in Faith in Action’s “Living Well at Home” program in the Becker, Big Lake and Monticello communities.
Tickets, for $50 each, or for a table of eight (by being an event sponsor) can be purchased by contacting the Faith in Action office in Becker, 763-263-4277.
The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and include dinner, a show by “the Sisters,” a comic duo and bidding for prizes.
Faith in Action has been providing senior care, family services, caregiver support, Community Bridge, volunteer connections and intergenerational programing for the past 10 years, working with over 1,000 volunteers annually.
They are non-denominational, partnering with over 40 different churches and cover a service area of 500 square miles, including Sherburne County, portions of Wright and Mille Lacs counties and St. Cloud.
