Join The Fun With Girl Scouts
Thurs. Sept. 28, 6 p.m.-7p.m. at the Becker Primary School cafeteria. The Becker Girl Scouts are hosting this free event to introduce girls ages K-12 to Girl Scouts. This event will include a game, craft and song for the girl to take part in while parents have the opportunity to learn about GS and sign up.
Becker October Harvest Fest
Sat. Oct. 7, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Becker City Park, 10362 Co. Rd. 23. Food and beverages, kids games, inflatables, face painting, hayrides and much more, music my the Slew Foot Family Band.
Clear Lake Fire and Rescue Open House
Oct. 7, 1-3 p.m. at Clear Lake Fire Hall, 8670 1st Ave West, Clear Lake. Free food, child t-shirts (while supplies last), fire truck rides, games, giveaways, drawings and more!
Clearwater Area Friends of the Library
Are accepting donations of gently used books, DVDs and CDs for their October Book Sale. The sale will be held the week of Oct. 15. at the Clearwater Library. Donations can be dropped off at the Clearwater Library. Textbooks, encyclopedias, outdated medical books, magazines, and moldy books can not be accepted. Donations are tax deductible. All proceeds from the book sale benefit the programs, services and equipment of the Clearwater Library.
