Becker Lions Collecting Items To Recycle
–items are: eye glasses, hearing aids, cell phones and printer ink cartridges. Collection boxes are located at the Becker Community Center (entryway) and Insight Eye care.

Clearwater-Clear Lake Food Shelf
-is open Mon. 5:30-7 pm, Tues. 9-11 am and 6-8 pm, Wed. 3-5 pm and is in the brown Lions Community Building beneath the water tower in Clearwater. We service residents of Clearwater and Clear Lake.
Computer Learning and More

Third Thursdays Group
-Focuses on finding peace and hope after loss. “Strategies and coping mechanisms” are discussed each “Third Thursday”, a community program at Faith Lutheran Church, Becker. The monthly gathering is open to anyone who has lost a loved one. Participation is free and open to all, regardless of whether one has church background; no pre-registration is required. Becker Boy Scout Pack 92
-hosts a cardboard and paper recycling drive. Bring all of your unwanted paper and cardboard recyclables to the dumpsters located between the Hardware Store and Food Pride from 9am-12n on the first Saturday of every month and a friendly scout will help you unload your unwanted paper/cardboard items. The proceeds of these paper drives helps the scouts earn money to attend camp.

First Annual Heritage of Foley Days
- Join the Heritage of Foley Campus for their first ever Foley Days celebration to help raise funds for a handicapped accessible bus! Beginning Mon., Sept. 14, enjoy a classic car, truck and motorcycle show from 3-5pm. Thurs., Sept. 17 an outdoor concert featuring “Cannonball Paul”, America’s Premier Railroad Entertainer and Vaudevillian Troubadour. Fri. Sherburne County Tractor Drive
-Sat. Sept. 5. Vintage farm tractors of all colors and models are welcome in the annual tractor drive. This will be about a 25 mile drive starting in Becker and will include several stops along the way. Golf For Hope
-Mark your calendars Clearwater Travel Plaza is hosting its 6th annual golf for hope event at Eagle Trace Golf Course in Clearwater. Fri, Sept. 11 - $60 per person. Team sign-in at 9am, golfing begins at 10am. Registration deadline is Sept. 6th. This tournament will raise funds to benefit local research and support to find a cure for Breast Cancer.
