Svea Hill Church Homecoing Reunion Hymn Sign
July 9, at 6:30 p.m. at the church, fellowship time follows the service. The church is located 6 miles north of Hwy. 10 on Co. Rd. 15. If you ever attended Svea Hill church or been a part of recent neighborhood hymn sings, all are welcome.

County Seeking Outstanding Seniors
Nominations are now being sought for the 2017 Outstanding Senior Citizen Award for Sherburne Co. They will be honored at the Sherburne Co. Fair on July 23. Official nomination forms are due by July 7 and are available by contacting Vicki Simcoe at simcoevj2@ gmail.com. Winners at the county level will move on to compete at the State Fair.
 
Friends of the Becker Library
The friends of the Becker Library will meet Wednesday, July 19 at 6:30 p.m. in the library to discuss plans for the fall book sale. All interested individuals are invited and encouraged to attend.
 
Sherburne History Center July Book Club
The July meeting of the Book Club will be held on Thurs., July 6, at 6:30 p.m. This month’s selection is Rez Life by David Treuer. SHC Book Club meets the first Thursday night of each month. There is no cost to attend and all are welcome. Many of the books are available for purchase at the Sand Burr Gift Shop inside SHC. Wright Co. Wellness on Wheels (WOW)
Wright Co. Public Health announces Wellness on Wheels (WOW) Program schedule for Thurs. July 6, 3-7p.m., Monticello High School, West Lecture Room. Thurs. July 20, 2-6 p.m., Annandale City Hall. Public Health Nurses provide the WOW Program services including, immunizations for all ages, screening and individual consultations for blood pressure, fasting lipid panel cholesterol, fasting glucose, non-fasting hemoglobin A1C, pregnancy, hemoglobin, tuberculosis and much more.
