Becker Legion And Auxiliary Meeting 
–Is the second Wednesday of every month at 8 p.m.
 
Clear Lake Legion & Auxiliary and Sons of American Legion
-Meets the second Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at Palmer Town Hall. The Auxiliary will also meet at the same time. New members always welcome. Any questions contact Bud Stimmler at 320-761-5793.
 
Knitting/Crochet Night
–Is the first and third Tuesday night of each month at Cafe Pawz, 6:30-8:30 p.m., join as your schedule allows. All ages and levels of yarn lovers welcome.  Working towards creating items to donate locally if you'd like to help.
 
Becker Lions Collecting Items To Recycle 
– items are: eye glasses, hearing aids, cell phones and printer ink cartridges. Collection boxes are located at the Becker Community Center (entryway) and Insight Eye care.
 
Becker AA Meeting

Wellness And Weight Loss Support Group
– At Palmer Township hall, 4180 - 105th Ave., Co. Rd. 6 and 42nd St., the second and fourth Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. Bring tips, recipes and topics of interest. Everyone welcome.
 
Clearwater-Clear Lake Food Shelf
 -is open Mon. 5:30-7 pm, Tues. 9-11 am and 6-8 pm, Wed. 3-5 pm and is in the brown Lions Community Building beneath the water tower in Clearwater.  We service residents of Clearwater and Clear Lake.
 
Computer Learning and More
-at the ABE Computer Lab at Monticello Workforce Center. We also offer preparation for the Special Boiler’s License Examination and GED prep. All services are free and open to the public. You don’t have to be unemployed to use these services. Call to get started 763-271-3768. 
 
Horseshoe Pitching
 -at the Becker Legion. We installed indoor pits and are looking for anyone interested. We have horseshoes you can use or bring your own. Come to the Becker Legion (1 Blk North of Hwy 10 on Hancock) on Tues. nights from 6 to 8 pm.  All are welcome.
 
Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Meeting

Becker Running Club

Third Thursdays Group
-focuses on finding peace and hope after loss. ​“Strategies for Facing the Holidays” is the first topic to be offered at “Third Thursdays”, a new community program at Faith Lutheran Church, Becker.  The monthly gathering is open to anyone who has lost a loved one. Participation is free and open to all, regardless of whether one has a church background; no pre-registration is required. Ashley Prentice is the keynote presenter for this initial program, and co-organizer of the series, together with Pastor Dick Wehrs. Momentum at The Hub

DivorceCare/DC4K
 -is a weekly support group designed to help those recovering from separation or divorce face their challenges and move toward rebuilding their life.  DC4K is an auxiliary program designed just kids age 4-grade 5. GriefShare
 -is a weekly support and recovery group for those grieving the loss of a family member or friend.  The group contains messages and material each week to help walk you through recovering from your loss. Becker Food Shelf Hours Change
-will be open on Thursdays from 4-6 p.m. Tues. hours remain the same, 9-11 a.m. They are located 12060 Sherburne Ave. in City Hall. Call 763-261-4612 with questions.
 
Family Prospective Resources
-Do you have a child with a mental health diagnosis? Come join our new group for parents and kids. Parents can share experiences and acquire support and skills, while children can attend a seperate social group. Parents of children diagnosed with trauma and loss, anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHA, Autism Spectrum, ODD and more are invited. The group meets Mon. from 6:30-7:30 p.m. starting March 9-April 27. for more information or to register call 763-367-6080.

-Come experience God's peace and hope when you pray along side other moms. Fix-It-Clinic
-will be held Sat. April 18 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Lions Park Center in Elk River. Clinics are intended to held residents with the repair of household goods such as small appliances, furniture, electronics, toys and clothing.
 
Volunteers Needed
 -The Central Minnesota Council on Aging will hold a free three day training sessions in April in St. Cloud for persons interested in becoming counselors in the state health insurance and assistance program. Register by March 31 to Brenda at 320-253-9349.
 
Becker Cemetery Association Spring Cleanup
- The Becker Cemetery Association gives notice that as of Wed. April 15, all winter/Christmas decorations must be removed if you wish to keep them. The Cemetery volunteers will do the spring cleanup Sat. April 18. 
 
Becker Class of  ‘55 Reunion

Purple Up Day
-April is month of the Military Child. Celebrate and show support for military children by wearing the color purple on April 15. Join Becker Schools, Beyond the Yellow Ribbon and members of the community by wearing purple.

Becker Cub Scout Pack 92
-is hosting "Scouting For Food" food drive event on Saturday, April 18th form 9a-11a.  The scouts will be going door to door to collect non-perishable food items to help stock the shelves of the Becker Food Shelf.  If you would like to donate food but will not be in town on the morning of April, 18th please place all non-perishable, non-expired food on your front step and the scouts will pick it up. 
 
Becker Cub Scout Pack 92
-hosts a cardboard and paper recycling drive. Bring all of your unwanted paper and cardboard recyclables to the dumpsters located between the Hardware Store and Food Pride from 9am-12n on the first Saturday of every month and a friendly scout will help you unload your unwanted paper/cardboard items. The proceeds of these paper drives helps the scouts earn money to attend camp.
