Dec. 3 at 4 p.m. Audience will join in singing carols and special music. Supper follows at 5 p.m. Svea Hill Church is located 6 miles north of Hwy. 10 on Co. Rd. 15.

 

Christmas Tree Ornament Festival

At Sherburne County History Center Sat., Dec. 2, from 10 a.m.-noon as we celebrate the holidays and Sherburne County’s tradition of Christmas tree farming! The event features snacks, crafts, a visit from Santa, and performance by the Land of Lakes Choirboys. Admission is free and all are welcome to attend. Dec. 14, 9:30 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, Annandale. Enjoy brunch and take home ideas and tips on stamping, card making and decorations by Stacey Krats of Monticello. There will also be music by Elizabeth Cabalka on the flute, and encouragement by Donna Clark of Forest Lake who will share how to get from emotional exhaustion to emotional balance. Clearwater Public Library

Holiday book ornament workshop, Tues., Nov. 29 at 6:30 p.m. Learn how to make a number of different ornaments using old book pages. For teens and adults, limit to 20 and preregistration is required. Sat. Dec. 9 from 1-3 p.m. at Bailey Ray’s (2120 165th Ave. Santiago). Visit with Santa, cookie decorating, face painting, crafts, games and more. Fun for kids of all ages. Special guest music by Land of Lakes Boys Choir.
