Bring Joy to Hospice Patients
St. Croix Hospice is seeking volunteers to provide companionship to individuals affected by a life-limiting illness. Companion visits are scheduled at your leisure. Bring your aluminum cans to the trailer located near Becker True Value and paper and cardboard recyclables to the dumpsters near the same location the first Saturday of every month. There will be a Scout there to help unload between 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

2018 Dylan’s Hope Charity Golf Tournament
Fri., Aug. 10 beginning at 11 a.m. at Pebble Creek Golf Club. The event will include a 4 person team scramble, prizes for 1st place and other teams, hole prizes for traditional hole challenges. The entry fee for the tournament is $80 per player, which includes cart, range balls and the meal. Come hungry as the Pebble Creek Grille will be serving a delicious meal. Vietnam Veterans Recognition Ceremony
A ceremony honoring Vietnam Veterans is planned at noon, July 4, at the Mille Lacs Co. Fairgrounds located at 1400 N. 3rd St., in Princeton. All veterans who served on active duty in U.S. Armed Forces at any time during the Vietnam War period, Nov. 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975, are invited to participate. No distinction is made between Veterans who served in-country, in-theater, or who were stationed elsewhere during the Vietnam War period. County Veteran Services and St. Cloud VA staff will be available to discuss enrollment in VA health care and provide information on the full range of Veterans benefit programs, from noon-7 p.m., July 4; 10 a.m.-4 p.m., July 5; and 9 a.m.-6 p.m., July 6.
VBS at Becker Baptist Church
