Becker Early  Childhood Family  Education

-The Becker Public Library is offering a Preschool Storytime series for children ages 3 to 6 Tuesdays, 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.,  April 1, 8, 15 and 22.

Friends Of  The Becker Library 

 

–are looking for gently used books, DVD’s and audio books for their book sale April 23-26.  We ask that no magazines, encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest, VHS, damaged books or any books older than 10 years be donated.  These can be brought to the library during regular hours.  All proceeds go towards programs and special needs at the library.

This American Heart Association course is designed for individuals interested in CPR and AED training. Ted Bowman is a family and grief educator who specializes in disruptive changes (diagnosis, divorce, death, change in life circumstances, dismissal ) and the resulting loss and grief.  Many changes, while difficult and challenging are predictable parts of life.  Others break the rules, shattering dreams and hopes, interrupting and changing lives.  

 

The sessions will focus on maintaining resiliency and hope for self and with others when facing these challenges. The focus of the sessions will be the same, but not duplicate.  Attending both is not required but highly encouraged. These are free events that all are welcome to attend.
