Last Monday the Hornets took down Sauk Rapids-Rice 4-3. All four wins came in the singles matches and all three losses came in doubles.

 Erick Carlson won the No. 1 singles match 6-0, 6-0, Ethan Carlson won No. 2 6-2, 6-2, Miles Slack won No. 3 6-4, 6-2, and Colton Stelzer won No. 4 7-6 (9), 7-5. 

On Thursday the team was defeated 6-1 by conference opponent St. Francis. 

The lone victory for Big Lake came from the No. 3 singles spot with a dramatic victory by Stelzer. He dropped the first match 2-6 before rallying and taking the next two 6-4 and 11-9. 

The two matches this week for the team are Thursday at Becker and next Tuesday at Chisago Lakes.
