Head Dance Team Coach, Nadia Fischer-Danzeisen, has been named the MADT Class AA Head Coach of the Year. 

Nadia coached the Bulldog Dance Team to section championships in both High Kick and Jazz for the first time in school history, which led to the team’s third consecutive trip to the state tournament. At state, the Jazz Team qualified for the finals for the first time in school history finishing in sixth place. The High Kick team finished in seventh, one place from making the finals. 

Also under her guidance this past season, the dance team won the first ever “Making Waves” Award. This award is given to those teams that are doing something new and different. It could be for innovative choreography, improving scores or placements during the season, showing team development (in numbers of skills), making connections to other teams, or simply stepping up to showcase the very best parts of dance team in Minnesota. 

Congratulations to Nadia on the Coach of the Year award and for leading BHS’s dance program to new heights and “making positive waves” this past season.
