The Becker boys golf team started off their season this week with an invitational at the Monticello Country Club and finished 12th out of 15 teams.

Thomas May was the leading golfer for Becker, as he finished in a tie for 33rd place out of the 90 golfers.

“The course was in great shape for the Spring,” Coach Dan Olson said.  “The kids played some good stretches of golf, but are still shaking off the rust in their games.  Each player had at least four doubles on their card so we are hoping in the upcoming weeks those mistakes will be eliminated.”

Becker hosted their home invite Thursday at Pebble Creek, while Monday they will make a return trip to Monticello for a M8 meet and Wednesday the team will be at St. Francis.
