The Big Lake boys lacrosse team picked up their first win of the season last Friday at Parade Stadium with a 7-5 victory over Minneapolis. 

The team trailed 5-4 at halftime but rallied with three third quarter goals to steal a win. Jack Midas led the way with two goals and three assists, while Declan Weber finished with three goals himself. Also scoring for the team were Cade Fagen and Landon Bagne. 

Last Thursday the team fell 14-2 to Chisago Lakes. Bagne and Weber scored one goal apiece and Midas and Cash McCrone each had an assist. 

And on Tuesday night the team scored their first conference win of the season when they took down Becker 10-8. 

The team’s next contest is on Wednesday at home against Monticello, then they welcome Cloquet to town on Saturday, and then travel to ROCORI next Tuesday.
