Pebble Creek golf simulators open for business

The Becker City Council meeting for Jan. 4 was brief and uneventful – with a lack of agenda items, the meeting clocked in at just over five minutes long.

Golf Committee

The golf committee reported continuing to work on the event space for Pebble Creek.

“All the ugly golden oak is gone,” Council Member  Becky Olmscheid was happy to report.

She went on to say the official ribbon cutting ceremony for the golf simulators would be Thurs., Jan. 13 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Story on this event to appear in an upcoming edition of the Patriot.) Patrons can visit PebbleCreekGolf.com/simulators-at-pebble-creek to book a tee time. Time slots are available for times between one to four hours at a rate of $40 per hour of game time.

In Other Business, the Council:

• Recently held a stakeholder meeting with GovHR;

• Reviewed committee assignments for the new year;

• Called for a public hearing for January 31 at 6 p.m. regarding the city’s driveway ordinance.
