CITY OF BECKER

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 

TO CONSIDER VACATION OF THE A PORTION OF DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS AND INGRESS / EGRESS EASEMENTS WITHIN THE PROPERTIES 

CURRENTLY IDENTIFIED AS PID #60-00434-0105 AND 

#60-00434-0110

After receiving a petition signed by the majority of the owners of land abutting easements proposed to be vacated, which easements are legally described below, on the properties currently identified as PID #60-00434-0105 and #60-00434-0110, and pursuant to Minnesota Statute § 412.851, the City of Becker City Council duly called for a public hearing to consider vacation of said easements. 

Notice is hereby given that a hearing will be held before the City Council of the City of Becker on the 7th day of May, 2024, in the City Hall City Council Chambers located at 12060 Sherburne Ave SE at approximately 5:00 pm to consider the vacation of said easements which are legally described as:

DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT

That part of the Drainage and Utility Easement as dedicated in the recorded plat of GILYARD ADDITION, Sherburne County, Minnesota described as follows: 

The Southeasterly 6.00 feet of Lot 1, Block 1, GILYARD ADDITION, lying Northeasterly of the Southwesterly 12.00 feet thereof and lying Southwesterly of the Northeasterly 6.00 feet thereof. 

Together with: 

The Northwesterly 6.00 feet of Lot 2, Block 1, GILYARD ADDITION, lying Northeasterly of the Southwesterly 12.00 feet thereof and lying Southwesterly of the Northeasterly 6.00 feet thereof.

DESCRIPTION OF INGRESS / EGRESS EASEMENT

The perpetual easement for ingress and egress purposes as dedicated per Document No. 325924, Sherburne County, Minnesota described as the East 18.00 feet of Lot 1, Block 1, GILYARD ADDITION, and the West 16.00 feet of Lot 2, Block 1, GILYARD ADDITION.
