The Big Lake swim and dive team travelled to Monticello for a conference meet last Thursday. A few strong performances by Hornet swimmers weren’t enough to win the meet as they were defeated 111-64.

Torri Ramert won the 1-meter dive event with a score of 210.25. In the 100-yard backstroke Emma Conklin and Brooklyn May took the top two spots for the Hornets. 

The team will travel to Becker this Thursday Sept. 14 to take on their rival in the Highway 10 Border Battle before an invitational this Saturday in Milaca.
