The Becker Bulldog volleyball team is preparing for a busy upcoming week, when they will host St. Cloud Tech (Monday), before going on the road to Annandale (Tuesday) and St. Francis (Thursday). The matchup with the Saints will mark the end of the Mississippi 8 Conference matches for the year, as Becker will then host their final three matches against Zimmerman, Rocori and St. Cloud Apollo.

Entering this week, the Bulldogs were sitting at 4-6 on the year, including a nice M8 Conference win last Thursday over Chisago Lakes. In the win over the Wildcats, Becker fell behind early and lost the first game, 20-25. The Bulldogs then battled back and picked up a 25-19 win in the second game. From there, Becker picked up 25-22 and 27-25 in games three and four to secure the win.

The win left the Bulldogs with a 2-2 record in the M8 heading into this week’s action, which included a home match Tuesday night against conference-leading Monticello.
