During the recent Vikings Vs. Packers game, Beck’s Pub in Becker once again held their “Packer Smasher” event. Patrons were invited to take hits at a Packer-inspired vehicle in exchange for a food shelf donation of canned or dry goods (or else a five dollar donation.)

The event was a huge success, with Vikings fans raising $837 for the local food shelf and many pounds of food as well. 

The event was sponsored by Pizza Depot and Ralph’s Auto Body. The Becker Lions Club grilled and sold burgers and brats to further raise funds for the food shelf. This is the fourth annual Packer Smasher event (not counting COVID-19 cancellations.)
