Bulldog baseball 9-1 at half way point

With the regular season half over, the Becker Bulldog baseball team sits with a 9-1 record and still atop the M8 Conference.

Last Thursday, the Bulldogs knocked off the Big Lake Hornets, 11-6.

Shortstop Isaac Daluge was the leader offensively for the Bulldogs, going two-for-four with four RBI and scoring three runs.  Ethan Guck had a pair of hits and also drove in three RBI for the Bulldogs.

First Loss

Monday night, Becker went on the road and suffered their first loss of the season, falling 2-0 to the Delano Tigers.

It was a pitcher’s duel from the start, as each team managed just three hits.

Kellan Graning went the distance on the mound for the Bulldogs, going all seven innings and surrendering the two runs.

Josh Groskreutz, Isaac Daluge and Isaac Guck each had one hit apiece for the ‘Dogs.

Rain

Last Friday, the team traveled to Rockford and as expected, Mother Nature opened up and forced the rain out.

Tuesday night, the Bulldogs were rained out against Chisago Lakes and will instead face the Wildcats on May 6.
